That these are all from imagination and not from life is all the more stunning. Hat's off.

Can you tell us about the tools you use???

Kyle T. Webster said...

Hi, Manlio and Debbie,

Yes, I'm happy to tell you what I use: I draw with the 'thick to thin' brush in Painter X. It lets me be very quick and it simulates as closely as possible the experience of working with my Pentel PocketBrush (my favorite tool of all time!).

If you have never tried a Pentel PocketBrush, I recommend it above any other pen brush in the world - it is simply fantastic.

Cheers,
Kyle

Found your blog via http://designyoutrust.com/

Have forwarded to my mailing list because your sketches are a breath of fresh air for the art and design community.

Keep going. Some girl in San Diego is a fan!

Thanks again, everybody, for the compliments - I am encouraged to keep up this exercise.

Quick note - for those of you who are emailing me directly, if I don't respond within a day or so, it is just because I am really busy!

Best,
Kyle
