My first iPhone game

I know this might not seem like a drawing post, but it actually is! I created an iPhone game and it was launched today. I think you will love it! Players must redraw sequences of lines that appear on the screen. Sound easy? The challenge will surprise you. More info with videos, screenshots and more can be found at the official site. These are the tennis match spots that ran in last week's issue. This blog inspired these figures and I couldn't be happier that a publication as prestigious as The New Yorker found this series appealing, as well.

2 Announcements

1) My Daily Figure-esque spots appear in this week's New Yorker (look for the cover with a book-reading alien).
2) I am planning on doing five brush-on-paper Daily Figures each month and selling them. They will be drawn on medium weight bristol, roughly 12 x 18. I hope you like this idea- let me know with comments, if you can? Thanks!

The Daily Figure in The New Yorker

Well, sort of. I'm very pleased to say that I took my Daily Figure 'thinking' and applied it to a set of ten black and white drawings that will run as spots throughout the pages of a future issue of The New Yorker. This was my first attempt at moving this style forward into some of my regular client work and it was a great success! I will let you know when the issue runs and then post the work. Thanks to everybody for linking to this site, blogging about it, and just reading it from time to time. I really appreciate the support. Now I need to catch up and draw some more figures!
