Nice drawings :) Here's hoping you keep the motivation up to continue this (I know what that's like, working on my drawing skills as well and it's tough to post everyday).
BTW, where do you get your 'models' from? Memory, people on the street, classes, etc?

Matthew, I use Painter for these - I'd love draw them with real brushes but I don't have time for scanning, etc., since this is just a little exercise for me in an already full day!
